MICHELLE RITORTO CAVALIERE, Ph.D.

    Senior Research Scientist with expertise in transmission electron microscopy (TEM), confocal Raman microscopy (CRM), and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Specializing in TEM analysis of nanoparticles, advanced materials, polymers, and pharmaceuticals including sample preparation techniques. Expertise in confocal Raman microscopy of pharmaceuticals/medical devices, polymers, carbon nanotubes, and composite materials. SEM experience includes conventional SEM-EDS and cryo-high resolution scanning electron microscopy (cryo-HRSEM), as well as rapid freezing techniques for cryo-HRSEM samples.
